Memory seat does not work

Suddenly the memory seat does not work. The light on the "Memo" does not lit. Anybody have same experience? Or it just a blown fuse?

By the way, where is the fuse of the memory seat locate at?

FYI, I don't think they will work if the car is in gear, has to be in park or netural. If this isn't the problem, it may be a blown fuse or something.

Have you disconnected your battery recently? If so that's what caused the problem. If not you might want to see if you can reprogram it. Normally if it's not programmed then the light won't come on.

I think the parking brake has to be up for you to be able to use it.

Tried everything, still does not work. Took it to dealer this morning. They said I disconnected the cable because I installed the Basslink remote. And wanted to charge me...

But the Basslink was intalled over 4 months!! Told the service manager will complain with Acura regional office. He said he will call me back later on today.

CHARGE U WTF!!!!

NO FKin WAY THAT IS FKin BS .

Did they use any parts? NO! Example I removed my passenger seat for the track one day and put it back days later. Only to notice that my SRS light still has not come off after replacing the seat. I was told by a friend that the light would need to be reset by the dealer. Now if the dealer came and told me that they were going to charge me $.01 for the work I would have a field day with their regional office. How the hell can they charge me for something that they set up them selves.

Finally took my car and the invoice came out "$0.00" . But they remarked on the invoice. "customer installed aftermarket equipment causing DPM (Driver position Memory) plug detached. Re-plug as courtesy N/C (no charge).

Stupid.......

I'm taking mine back to the dealership next tuesday 'cause the seat memory doesn't work right too.

My cars problem seems to be w/ the parking brake. When the brake is set, the brake light on the dash doesn't light up. I'm guessing that when the light is off the computer thinks the brake is off, so the seat memory doesn't work as it should.

Hopefully it'll be something simple like an unplugged plug.

Hehe I had the same problem and was really freaking out, until Silver told me about the battery (I completely forgot!!! ). Yes if you're battery was discharged, or disconnected you're going to haveto reprogram the memory :o
