Melting the headlight housing

Will PIAA Spark Blues melt my headlight housing? I bought them a few days ago but haven't installed them yet because i wasn't sure if it would run too hot...anyone know?

What's the wattage of the bulbs you want to install? If they are stock (65watt) high beams, they should be fine. I once put 80/100 (low/high) H4 into my Land Rover housing, melted the socket onto the bulb but didn't hurt the housing. I know of a couple people who put 100watt high beams in there cars, and didn't have any problems. But, I don't know how much nightime country driving they did to allow the fixture to get to the point it melts, hmm.....
