Sup dudes,

My ride is out of warranty and so my willing to see dealer for mile service again.

I'm looking for a reputable shops in San Diego area to take my Tegra for serivce, mods and paint jobs.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

*Warning - Stay away from Pann Auto. Group 5 is decent but their customer STINKS big time.

custom body and paint: Gold Crest Auto (619) 229 8802; Amato's (858) 455 6715 also does good paint jobs and body repair, but not custom body stuff...its also really expensive

if you have a honda or acura just order the aftermarket parts you want from acp...as long as they are bolt on mods(headers, intake, axle/cat-back exhaust), pulleys the dealer wont fuck with your warranty no matter where they're installed at...at least thats been my recent experience with sd acura dealers

Group 5 does a lot of aftermarket work. You might wanna check them out. I believe they're in Miramar.

I've been going to Pann Auto for awhile, I 've had no problems.... They've helped me out alot.....

What type of work have you had done there? I've heard (several sources) they're butchers and send their butchery to other auto shops to fix the stuff they messed up.

Nothing big, installed my CAI and springs..... I thought you were talking 'bout they're Customer service...... They've been pretty good to me....

I'm not gonna get my mods on for next 4-5 months, just need to get 60K miles service and fix friggin scratches on front and rear bumpers.

Anybody had any experience with Phil Thearle's Autowerks?
I know that they do paints job/repairs for Acura dealerships in SD area.
