DISCLAIMER: i know most stories here are about beating other cars.. but im sorry.. this one is not.. quite simply impossible in my car, to beat a viper.. so, sorry =p

i was on the freeway..

5 freeway, heading south, in irvine

i see this yellow viper.. i pulled up next to him.. his system was up.. but not as bumpin as mine =p.. but anyway..

just for fun.. i floor it,... (gear drops) vtec/intake howls like a madman.. and im off to a good start.. and then ..

he drops a gear.. and takes off .. and he dissappears into sunset.. while i just reached 90mph.. (end of 3rd)

man that was fuN!.. that engine sounded like one mean piece of engineering..

its always awesome to see the shear power of a superior car!

My friend used to have a moded 98. He loved that thing. It was a bit hard to drive though. Way too easy to step the back end out. It was loud & rough. I had him pace me in my 300M one night on a long stretch of FL HW in the middle of the night. Since our cars didn't have a speed governor I got it to 151MPH & it wouldn't go any more. Once he radioed my speed he kept going. He took it to 170. Amazing car! Too bad he lost control of it on a wet turn & crashed it a few weeks later

 

If ya got to get killed by a car, might as well be a Viper.

 

i got that same reaction when i raced a SS camaro.. he stuck his hand out the top and waved the "no" finger at me.. heheh..

i raced a corvette too.. of course he beat me.. but that viper so far has been best ownage ive ever been in

 

Well you should see the look on the guys face when he guns it and does NOT pull away from the Acura next to him

i had an idea a long time ago..

my engine is crap.. and has no chance of beating a viper, or that class vehicle..

therefore.. my trunk pops open and low and behold a jet-engine, solid fuel rocket, or liquid fuel rocket (whichever is most feasible) comes out..

ignition and boom, im at 200 mph within 10 seconds.. as my tires fall off, and my car falls apart from structural failure, eventually reaching my jet/rocket, and exploding..

but for the 1 second im handing the viper's ass on a silver platter.. *kodak* moment if u will..
