I was driving along minding my business when these 2 bug headlights come up on me hard. I'm on a 2 lane road and the guy in front of me is going slow and moving to the right lane. I look in my rearview and see the car behind me jump and start to come hard so I go... when I got on it I was going about 45... so I pull to 70 where it shifts as I switch to the right lane.... I see him about 1 car behind me.... I pull hard to somewhere between 95-100 when I catch the mirror again and see him 2 cars back... I brake hard to see exactly what it is I was racing... he braked hard and didn't seem to want to pass me, so I let him go and saw it was a Boxster... no S, for 45K those things are pretty slow.

My mods are icebox and headers along with coilovers and light rims.

i have an auto... when i had my turbo lancer i could run with the boxster-s

 

Nice kill. Boxsters aren't known for their speed - unlike the 911 turbo. The price of a car has nothing to do w/ how fast a car is.......if that was the case we'd all be getting our asses handed to us by Bentleys and RRs.

 

Those Boxsters are poopy...

The S is the only 1 worth buying even though I'd much rather have an S2K & keep $20k in the pocket!

 

I'm not sure what it is but I ran into ANOTHER boxster, this time some kid that looked like he was in high school was driving it.... and this time we were both at a red light, through first it was pretty even, once my vtec in second hit i pulled on him hard by about half a car, and when it shifted into third my vtec was screaming and he shutdown way before 100... love it.
