He was running a older Mitsu that was running 12's.

Keith was running street tires the other guy was running BFG drag radials.

We won't tell everything he has on his car. But I can make any 3.0 run 13's for $4000 or less, depending on what parts you have on your car now.

Just think, most guys spend more than $4000 on a GSR swap in a hatchback and they will only run mid to low 14s in the 1/4 on street tires.

I know he's had some engine work done, plus bolt ons and n20.

What, if anything, has been done to the tranny? Does Keith have traction bars?

He does not have traction bars. With a little more work on the suspension his car will be quicker.

$10 says his tranny doesn't last a year if he keeps running the nitrous consistantly.

Something was changed on the tranny. That price includes those changes also. As of right now, the tranny is doing fine.

Anyone know how much nitrous he was spraying on that 13.76 run? Did he have:

Full interior?

Slicks?

Drag Radials?

or Street tires?

its still funny, everytime you post...every damn time...even on HT.com....you NEVER say anything about the car...finally admitted your running a 100 shot...but on full interior? i heard not...

100 shot is a lot of nitrous

yeah, its fast...but c'mon...people with bolt ons run 15.0...and 100 shot should do a lot more than that

With that type-R motor with a good driver it should be hitting high 12's.. say 12.6-12.8 either that.. or he is a horrible driver, or he was on some super lousy street tires

His car ran around 14.7 before he threw in his ZEX system. I would say knocking a second off in the quarter mile is pretty good. There are people running NITROUS OXIDE that don't get that much of a result.

Also check out the first gen forum. There are guys just breaking into the 15's with bolt ons in 3.0's.

It was the tag I had on my CX. It was for a friend that had a ITR I used to beat all the time.

I love the ITRs. I would love a 96 1/2 RHD CW with the SRD seats!

What car do you have? What does it run?

You try to copy his car and see if you hit 13's.

Why all the negative energy
I feel that a 13.76 on street tires is quite respectable. Whether he removed his interior or not, I still give him credit for being able to put the power to the ground & running a 13.76. If i'm not mistaken the 1st gen 3.0 CL would run between 15.8 to 16.0 stock. So based on a 15.8 stock quartermile time a 13.76 would be a 2 second drop. Personally, I don't think he has anything to be ashamed of.

"Can't we all just get along"
