Yeah there are instructions in the user manual that let you manually close the moonroof if the battery died or the moonroof e-motor went Kaboom! Very useful in a T-Storm.

Cool huh, I would not be amazaed to know that 50% of CLS oweners did not know that.

I've used the manual crank on my 88 integra's moon roof (sun roof??). The motor sometimes shorted out.

And yes, when all fails, read the book.

When I was searching for my headliner squeek, I thought the little plastic cap on the headliner was a screw cap. Come to find out later, that it's the cover to the manual Hex Screw gear for manualy opening and closing sunroof. I'd find out what size it is, and purchase the key hex key for it, then keep it in your glove.

yes There is one. I had once to remove my wheel and I found the hex thing, I found out later that it's for the moonroof.

I think all honda's have the manual closing of the moon roof. My 92 integra had it, my G/F's civic has it, and a guy at work has it on his '00 accord.
