maintenance: timing belt + tranny fluid

So i just got an oil change today on my 03 3.2 CL-p and the mechanic said that i should get my timing belt replaced soon and that I should get a tranny flush since the fluid is burnt.

few questions:

1. I have 60k miles and he said i should get it changed by 70k. I saw the acura maintenance paper and it says timing belt doesn't need to be changed until 105k miles

2. should i just get a tranny fluid replaced?

ok, double post..

Don't change the belt until around 105k
have acura replace your tranny if the fluid is burnt... Or at least take it to them with any tranny issue as you still have a warranty on the tranny.

the timing belt should be changed at 105k or 7 years.

you can do the transmission fluid change yourself if you dont want to pay dealership prices. but im not sure if you need documentation for the extended warranty. im not really following that.
just use honda/acura automatic transmission fluid and look in your owners manual to see how much to buy. also, if it looks bad, change it more than once. but just make sure you dont do a flush.

yeah i was thinking to myself as to why the mechanic would tell me to change my timing belt this early when i could have sworn i saw it as 105k in the maintenance schedule few days before.

as for the tranny, i took my car into the acura dealer to get a tranny fluid drain and refilled and then the service advisor then lets me know later that the mechanic said the front motor mount broke and the side mounts have problems too. I told them to keep it for a day or two and give me a loaner so they could test it out. I get a call the next day saying i will be needing a new tranny and they will be getting it installed monday. Hopefull i get no problems with this one.
