"Maintenance Req'd" Light flashing

The Maintenance Req'd light has been flashing everytime I turn the car on. This has been happening for the last few days. Question is, how long can I wait to take it to the dealer? I'm scheduled for the end of this month for my 7000 mile service, but should I wait that long?

it's just a reminder when it flashes, and then it will stay on when it's due (i htink at 7000mi)

Its just a warning. After 7000 miles it will stay on.

To reset it if youre really annoyed:
hold the two buttons near your dash, select and reset, and then turn your key to
position II while holding both buttons for 10 seconds.
