main req'd light

Started my car this morning and the main req'd light flashed for about 10 secs then went away. I know this happens i little before you 60k check but i got that done and I'm at 67k now. Should i be alarmed? I didn't want to ask the dealer because of course they'll say bring it in and charge me for something that i really didn't need

Instructions are in the manual. Light goes on automatically at intervals. 7500 miles, I think.

Turn the ignition to the ON position, but do not start. Hold down the SELECTand RESET buttons together for about 10 seconds. The main req'd light will flash. Then start the car and it will be OK.

My old accord had red line that would appear every 7500 miles, it was great cause you could reset it just by putting the key in a slot.
