Magnaflow question
Magnaflow question
Hey all,
I have a few questions that have come up as I design the custom exhaust set-up for my 2003 cls6. I want to get Magnaflow cans for the rear to replace the mufflers but I wasn't sure what size to go with.
Part # 14859 is 2.25 in and 4 out with a 5" body
Part # 14823 is 2.25 in and 4 out BUT with a 6" body
What is the difference? sound?
Also I have heard the midmuffler delete is a big nono, does it really sound that bad, I want something with a deep rumble that can be heard over the engine sounds, I know this might be unorthodox but I kinda like the ricier sounds as long as it isn't too high pitched.
Any help would be appreciated!
Also Civicdrivr if you read this I am going to email AMR right now and see what they can do for me on coilovers!

I feel like it's probably just style, but I am not 100% sure. As for the midmuffler, it's actually a resonator and quiets the car down. Here's two videos of my 02 with HKS Drager axle back with no resonator. I ran just resonator delete for quite awhile and it wasn't ricer at all. Only issue I had was raspy-ness when it was a cold start, but that went away after 3 or 4 minutes of driving.
