well i enjoy the sound. I initially had them installed with the resonator but it still took away from the power i was looking for. the stock resonator was fairly restrictive.

I have the same mufflers with custom tubing on my clp. I had them remove the stock resonator and place a magnaflow high performance round resonator. made it sound a million times better. a lot deeper.

you know i was looking into that. thought i'd try it out with the resonator. i may end up going that route sooner or later. without the resonator though you get a real good sound in the mid rpms, kinda like a 350z or a G35

hey this is gonna sound dumb but I am confused - I just want to install a pair of more aggressive mufflers on my stock CL-S exhaust system. Will the 14832 weld right up (is it's inlet the same diameter as the stock exhaust tubing)? Or will I have to have the shop install larger tubing?

It should weld right up.

Actually, the inlet on the Mags is 2.25", the stock piping on the OEM's and on the Y-transition is 2". Any good exhaust shop will know what to do when they see it though, so no worries.

OK thanks. After further thought I will probably buy the two Magnaflow mufflers and also a resonator and have them just custom-pipe the whole thing to some headers, once I decide which is the best pair - it seems everyone has different opinions.
