not really a race though

i've had my car for 2 years and for the first time ever someone was biting @ me and trying to get me to run, he was on my ass really bad through a u turn then as we turned on to m5(the name of the highway) he was just riding me, so i go WOT and couldnt get this fawker off me, i never knew it was a m5 i thought it was a 540 or somethin, until we stopped at the next light and he pulled up beside me, he was a cool guy but kind of creepy for tailgating me like crazy, y wouldnt he just pull up next to me on the road it was 4 lanes
he then went on to say when i was WOT his car was hardly workin, he went off on his own way and so did i, his plate read L8R

 

I need, want, and deserve an M5 (don't ask why, I just do!)! I love that car!

 

His license plate said L8R? Dang....

I dunno... those things are rated at almost 400 hp stock aren't they? Don't they have a SCed V8?

Doesn't sound cool to me. He actually sounds like a douche bag. I love m5's bu I hate aholes like that.....always wish they do it when I'm in my stang and not the TL or Impreza RS.

I saw an M3 the other day with the plate YBE2ND.

im actually on the verge of dropping a bunch of money on a M-roadster that my friend is selling... doesnt have the punch of an m3 or m5 but it would be a fun car to cruise around with my girl

and yea.. one day i will own the m5

 

I also was messing around with one about 2 months ago on 696 Darrin, between 275 & Orchard Lk. They are fast, thats for sure.

For it's respective year, it is quicker than the M3. Basically the same HP as the M3 in a lighter body. The 240 HP //M Roadsters were quick. The 315 HP version is very quick.

Yah, those M5's are awesome! I'd take one of those in a second. I want to see what the new ones will be like with the ten cylinder. That's crazy! I wonder how it will handle, though, with that big of a motor up in front. Of course, you can claim it isn't a road racing car, I guess. I've never seen what one can do with my own eyes, however. I've only seen an M3 totally on it next to me once. I just think they are nice looking cars.

 

M5 is probably the funnest car I've ever driven. It's got 398 bhp and when you shift you can sqeal in every gear but 5th to 6th. When you shift into 3rd the car feels like it becomes airborn and leaps about 20 feet. I feet like I about crapped my pants every time I drive it. My dad has the M5 and is going to trade it in this fall to get the 2005 M5 with 500hp and a V-10!! I can't wait to race my TL against it
