If you use a heat gun to slightly heat the material then you should be able to easily lift the letters up off the car... You may also use some 3M ahesive remover (auto grade safe on paint)... once the letters are up, more heat and adhesive remover will clear everything up... Just use soft pressure and be careful. If you think about it, if you dont damage the paint when you take the letters off, you will just have fresh (never exposed to the elements) paint underneath.... Done right it will be unoticebale. I would have done mine, but Im not sure If I would like it, As said early in this thread, its hard to undo debadging.

the one from ebay works great. i think its m3. had on since b4 the harsh new jersey winter (nov. 2006) and no peeling up on corners or anything, which is surprising since i go through the car wash at least once or twice a week. it came backed with industrial strength tape. so far so good...here's a pic click it to enlarge it

Just received an AGP spoiler from Xenon guy on ebay a few minutes ago. First impressions are excellent, other than the obvious tape showing on the ends, but for $65 shipped and painted I'll take it. Shipping only took 4-5 days as well.

bah! I want a ssm very badly, and he's not messaging me back. I'm hoping he someday gets another, or at least tells me that they are gone forever. Sad, it looks good, i like it a lot better than the stock spoiler or no spoiler, for a great price. Makes me wish i got my car a little earlyer

Haha. Your badges are fucked up the same way mine are. They're in the wrong spot, and curved like a sound wave. We both need to remove ours. I brandish a heat gun, and a garage, do you have any goo-gone?

Mine are like that too, only they're like on a slant, which kind of sucks because i wanted to debadge the A-C-U-R-A and leave the 3.2CL because people always ask me what car it is.

I'm considering taking it off but once it's gone, its for the most part gone forever so i'm hesitant.

Take it off and just tell them it's your new 2007 NSX.

True, once they're off, you can't re-use them.. You can always buy new emblems. They're not that freakin' expensive.

i wouldn't worry about it
unless you're looking for it, you won't notice the tape.

The BMW OEM tape sold through http://www.c-c-c.net/ is thinner. Spoiler is pretty close to the deck using this stuff.
