On an interesting side note, I have read that the new BMW 335 twin turbo does not have a limited slip differential!! Talk about wheel spin issues!

better tires, stiffer springs/shocks, and dont dump the clutch

and no, all the lsd does is aply power to the tire with the most traction, ie. the outside tire in the middle of a turn, or both when pointed straight.

not to jack this thread, but on page 6 it shows how to retreive the radio code to "reduce warranty and customer costs" buy pressing down the 1 and 6 buttons on the radio. I wonder how many dealers actually read this or if they are just shady?

Yeah, usually when I post that link it's for the radio code info...

Like Joe5.0 says, LSD isn't gonna stop wheelhop... I don't think anyone has come up with a way to eliminate wheelhop completely...

There's a way, start out in 2nd gear and dump it!

Only the 6 speed's have a limited slip differential. The auto's have VSA, which is a poor attempt at computer controlled limited slip.

And 169, I hope you have faith in your clutch with a 2nd gear dump.

Coming from the auto to the 6speed conversion there is a big difference in handling between the 2 in the corners. Laying down the power is so much easier and it pulls thru corners alot better

it's not a secret...i mentioned it in many posts...i put spring isolators that come on the GTO for shipping purposes along with bushings from sway bar ends on the shaft of my Koni SP3' and adjusted the fronts to full firm and filled my motor mounts with eurathane. i never got hop it was either spin or hook...went 1.9 on street tires. but on the street i could TB to 3000 RPMs when using the 555R's. couldnt do that with the toyos.
