Lowering My Cl-s..need Advice!!!

I am looking into lowering my CL-S very soon, but i need help with some questions.

BTW........Money IS an object to me..so i have to be careful with what i get...but please give me any suggestions.

First...i want comptech springs..i like to drop better than all the others.

OKAY..the questions are......

1.)I have 235/45/17's on my stock rims..WILL I BE RUBBING????

2.)I want to change the shocks and struts when i lower the car with COMPTECH springs, which ones do i get????

3.)Will he ride quality be lost terribly or.."just a little"???

4.)Is there a combo of shocks/struts/springs/sways out there for $1k?????

Hope you can help me...thanks in advance

1) NO, I have 235/45's on my stock rims and I have Neuspeed Sport Springs. I am about 2" lower all the way around!! NO RUBBING!!!!!

2) I have the Koni Yellow's, they are adjustable and are AWESOME!!!!

3) You will lose some ride quality. With the Koni's set on the softest setting, its not bad at all!!! If you get the Comptechs, it will be even better!!! The Comptechs are only 10% stiffer than stock, the Neuspeeds and the Eibachs are about 30% stiffer than stock!! I still love mine!!

4) I only paid $400 for my shocks AND springs!!! But I got them used!! You will pay about $600 for the Koni's and about $200 for the Springs. Get them installed at the same time!!! Save youself some $$$$$

I agree on the Konis with Comptechs, the ride is stiffer, but not bad and certainly the handling improvements far outweigh any loss of comfort.
