Low RPM Vibration

Does anyone with a 6speed have a vibration when revving the engine from idle to 1500 RPM's? The vibration, for me, is felt throughout the car, in the steering wheel, seat, etc.

I had a similar issue with my '91 Legend which was a problem with the motor mounts.

I haven't addressed this issue with the dealer yet, curious if anyone else has similar symptoms.

Yeah... its there... gets a tad worse with the headers. It's just the quality of the motor-mounts - nothing to do with the engine. Note that if Mercedes or BMW made a car with this much zip, gusto and luxury appointments, it will cost upwards of $40K... hence live with the vibrations!

I know our cars are full of zip for the money, however, that doesn't justify vibrations from sub-par motor mounts. I don't know if this problem exists in all 6-speeds or not, can anyone confirm?

Motor Mounts

Well, in the worst case get some polyurethane bushings or supports to the motor-mounts (rear one is the culprit in most
cases here).

Yup. I bitched at the dealer, and they "rest the computer". Yup... that's supposed to fix all! (like doctors prescribing Tylenol......)

I know at idle it's more rough than my '01 auto. So.... either it's because of the clutch, or the rear motor mount....

I'm gussing Allmotor2000 has it with the rear mount. But, wouldn't polyurethane make it worse? That shit's real rigid (hence it's use in suspension components.)
