Low beams

I changed out my low beam lights with PIAA hyperwhites. The lights are still a yellow tint and are not any brighter. What do I need to do to make them bright and white like the high beam HIDs?

Polarg m6 bulbs. there 18 watts vs. 5 watts stock and piaa's they match the hids perfectly and are much brighter.

The low beams in the 01 CL are HIDs, not the high beams. Did you get the PIAA 9005 Platinum Super White bulbs? They should be a closer match to the HIDs and brighter than the stock bulbs. I just ordered a set.

I think he's talking about the high beams, not our shitty "driving lights".

Yes my error. I meant to say the high beams. I replaced them with the PIAAs and they still look yellow and are not any brighter then the originals. That was 70$ wasted.

That's disappointing as I just ordered some. They're not as yellow as the stock ones, are they? I was reading about the color temperatures on autobulbdepot.com and since HIDs are about 4300°K, the Catz Gallaxy White bulbs should be a closer match. Maybe you can exchange them.
