trust me the option pulley is perfectly fine. its doing the same thing as UR but cheaper. plenty of people have bought it and they have had no problems. the only reason im taking off my option pulley is because f the blower if it werent for that i would just keep my option pulley.
very nice i was wondering if cl's were faster than ludes. but just so u know, it is very hard to get more power out of a honda prelude without major mods like.............aaaaaaaa..............boost, lol. but anyway what gen lude dose ur brother have?
I can attest to that.
i use to own a lude before my tranny went out...i had a 98... 97 to 01 if i remembered right is the same body (the newer ones)... and i raced my buddies cl-s back then... he smoked me

brother HAS a 97 prelude. with skunk 2 manifold, AEM cai, dc headers. It runs reall good i'll say thatt.
Yea the CL-s would dust hims even stock from a stand still cause of the TQ..
But we did this comparison from the beginning of his 3rd gear in vtec and wherever I was is where I hit the gas and before my pulley, he'd be even for a whileee and then i'd creep by him..
After I got the pulley I had just installed the manifold on his car and my gains we HUGE comparerd to his because we did the same "race" and this time the cl just pulled away instantly.
The CL loves mods GUYS... LOVES them.
P2R plenums and tb spacer/gaskets will be on my car in no more than 2 weeks so we'll see what THAT does to the beast in another comparison..
I'm in the process of getting my brother to do the pulley and cat-back exhaust as well so he won't be in my dust instantly...
LOL
But i'm affraid he won't have a choice

yea...i doubted the gains at first.... my cousin who installed it doubted the gains since it had nothing to do with the actual engine and told me its fast IN PEOPLES HEADS...haha... but as i drove away from the shop, i felt pull when i gas the car! WTF!...i thought its in my head ..so i took it on the freeway and that shit PULLS ...

After i put in the option pulley i felt no difference (my ac blows colder ) and after I put in my TB and IM spacers and cleaned out my IM and EGR port no difference. The only difference i felt performance wise was the headers..
Suspention is a whole diff story and the did the B& G shocks/springs good handling and quiet (my old stock springs/shocks had 155k on them) and after the Progress RSB and MOOG sway bar links and polyurethane bussings the car handles GREAT!!
The car drives and handles better now with 170K then when it had 70 miles when I picked it up from wayne Acura May 2000!!

So you guys are saying that if I let you drive my CL without the pulley, and the let you drive it again WITH the pulley and DON'T tell you I put it on, you WOULD be able to tell the difference?

It's no slap in the face... but i sure can tell it make a difff... i got proof as my thread started off.

i bought them off a member for 345 shipped to canada.. and I don't feel like modding a bunch of other crap or run into any troubles.... it works and it's a decent price.. I love the low end tq gains with this mod since it my daily driver. and it looks pretty bad as under the hood...

i like the reliability and i'm getting the tb spacer so it's gonna give my some juice. then when i toss on headers it'll be mental gains.. since the exhausts is all stock.
