classy, imagine havin headers and intake, my car feelslike it got another 20hp from the weather alone. I wonder of german cars get the same feeling in the cold, cuz I feel like I can take out an s4 or somethin, lol. The only downside to the cold weather is the rattles, but it's an even tradeoff...
bigman, we should def hook up another meet, mmm burgerking... gettin hungry.

Chirped 3rd gear (6spd) the other day, at first I thought that it was weird, but then I remembered how cool it was out.

YUP…
I’ve been leaving the house at 5:45AM for work these last few weeks and the temps have been in the mid 30’s at times.

I know it’s hard to prove within the confines of a dyno room, but this engine DEFINITELY comes alive when the weather gets colder.
Headers & CAI seem to be more effective as well.

I’m sure the Supercharger guys are probably REALLY noticing the difference now.

The fall was my favorite time of the year with the CL. The car seemed to just LOVE the cooler temps.

I wonder where my baby is right now???

Yup... we are having high 60'ish and low 70'ish nights... and car feels MUCH quicker.

I can relate to Scalbert's dilemma... 1st is just plain useless!!

We're in the 30's and 40's in Chi-town ... and trust me . i NOW feel my icebox and headers come to life... now I see what the midrange power the icebox develops is all about. However, today it was 70 degrees (some weather fluke) and i felt the sluggishness return briefly.

I wish engines were so damn dependent on temperature, air density, humidity .. i love my TL-S 50 degrees and below ... i'm not so fond of it 80 degrees +

Check my sig for the unocorrected dyno runs. The one in Feb 03, it was with like 30F-40F and sunny. I dynoed at 238 WHP and SAE correction was like 0.92!

DC did something interesting with the SRT-4; when higher temperature ambient conditions are detected the ECU increases boost to compensate. This way there is less of a power swing from cold conditions to warm.

Sorry, no control over that on the stock tuning. But I did find it interesting that DC did this to keep power levels somewhat consistant.
