was going home. from a friends house.. me and my girl in the car.. came to a stop light.. camaro pulls up (alone)..revs.. i was like sure..y not.. havent raced one.. i already knew i was gonna lose but i wanna see by how much.. light turns green.. i gate shifted.. (VSA and A/C on) haha.. not that it woulda made a big diff..
but neways.. by the end of first gear he was already a car ahead..and still pulling..he chirped second... so i shut down..didnt want a ticket..the dood slowed down too . so i caught up to em and gave em a thumbs up.. he just raised his hand and nodded and said thanks..
at least he wasnt a cocky bastard.. nice guy.. haha..
how fast are those camaros stock anyways.? and they come in auto or 5spd? 6spd?

not much diff with the 6speed. Those things have like 320HP/300Ftlbs-trq......we lack in all departments

 

v8, newer style are mid 13s from the factory, about 104 mph in the traps. will get to 60 in low to mid 5s and to 100 in mid 12s times. that's with an avg car and avg driver.

race to race, your best shot is a standard trans car, the ample torque and strong shifting auto make it pretty fool proof.
