anybody from the new york area know a good paintshop, i really need to get my paint redone for a good price, these swirl marks are really pisisng me off

im not talking about maaco im talkn about professional i dont want a half ass cheap paintjob, i wanna get the oem paint chipped off then redone

 

Just get a professional detail. They will use a buffer to take all the swirl marks out.

SHouldn't cost more than $200. Any DECENT paint job will cost at least 10x that most likely more.

 

where in NY are you. I have a place in Bayonne, right outside SI that repainted and repaired my whole car(hail damage) and it looks great. if your close swing by and take a look at it. i can meet you somewhere if you want too

 

i did get it professionally detailed once and it was beautiful for about 2 days, the last owner treated it like shit, i better not find his ass on this forum. well SI is kinda far atm too busy to go that far just to check the place out you know if they have a website or something?

The guy that re-painted my car did a really good job. He also did a couple other cars on the forum. Name of the place is Lorenzo's in Kearny. If you need the number, shoot me a PM.

 

I heard that there is a good body shop in Mahopac, near Yorktown, that does good work and at good prices. My friend got his bumbers repainted, and both quarter panels for i around $500 on his IS300. it looks like it came right off the showroom floor.

Both my doors have scratches/dents from the parking lot at my job. Both bumpers need to be painted. My hood needs to be painted. And i have 2 small dents, one in my trunk and one in my roof. I'm going through insruance and getting the whole thing painted. But I need a good place. The guy I have been using the last 2 years is hit or miss.

well my cousin worked for them back in the day so they hooked me up-no charge. if you are seriously interested, let me know well take a ride up there to meet my cousin and go to the shop. they doo good work, i cant complain-except for the chips on my bumper/hood from the F'in turnpike
