Looking for a good deal on Comptech CAI

Looking to buy a Comptech CAI and I was just wondering if there are any good (new/recent) deals/sales out there. I know that Comptech sells it for $279. Hook me up with some good deals!

Has anyone actually bought from this vendor? Is there any feedback for purchases made through this company?

i think 10 is about right.. dont think u can get more from just icebox. go for headers if u want more whp... i recommend CT, although if u dont want to shell out a G for them (which is understandable) there is obx and alphawerks. do a search and you'll find more than enough info

Ok, I just ordered a Comptech Icebox from Custom Car Creations! This will be my first engine mod and I'm sure it won't be my last.

If a TLS Icebox fits in a CLS then I have a guy in Sacramento who is selling his used box for $160 shipped.

So I ordered my Icebox on 8/24 and I havn't heard anything of it since then. How long is this supposed to take? When I initially ordered I got an email back saying "ok we got your order and you should expect an email in 2-4 days confirming the shipping date". Yeah so I havn't heard a damn thing from them since then. I sent an email asking about my order on Tuesday (8/31) with no reply yet. I'm getting a bit annoyed. It's one thing if they email me and let me know that it is going to take longer than expected to ship but they havn't done that. I thought this Custom Car Creations was a decent company that people on this site have used before. What gives?

I ordered from them and got my icebox in a short time. Im still waiting on my springs though, I think comptech was a little behind so there alittle late getting stuff out. Its not like them to not answer emails, they have always responded right back to me. I would say you should keep trying to work it out with them before you post stuff like this on the board. Don't worry about it though they are a reputable company and im sure you will have your icebox in no time

It's actually not Custom Car Creation's fault....blame Comptech. Comptech ships extremely slow to vendors. You have to be a high volume vendor with Comptech to get parts quicker.

Sorry to bring a this thread back from the grave (but since I created it in the first place ...). I have a quick question. I've searched around and have found numerous references to the Comptech Icebox. None where what I was looking for.

Has anyone ever put together a comprehensive installation guide for the Icebox? I would like to install it myself but I have limited experience under the hood of a car. Thanks in advance.
