Look What I Got in the Mail Today :)

Zeal Function B6s came in...
$190.00 for the installation.
$60.00 for the alignment.

I don't know if that is expensive, but the fact that I showed up @ 8:00pm, and the race shop took my car in with no hassle has got to be worth something. I pick it up tomorrow.

A few more pics here

Why do you mean by "Why the B-6 and B-2?"

If I understand your question correctly, then I only got the B-6s.

Got the B6s installed.

OMFG

They rock like you wouldn't believe.

I have the fronts set to 1 (softest spring rate), and the rears set to 3.

I'll play with it more on the way home from work.

It has a little more bounce to it, but feels pretty much like stock, except for when it comes to taking corners!

I'll post pics tonight. I've got an assload of work to do right now though.

It was dropped about 2-2.5 inches.

I'll probably need to either raise it a bit, or look into a camber kit. My rear camber is at about 1.8 degrees.

Why did you get the B-6 instead of the B-2?

Really the only difference between the B2s and the Function B6s is that the Function B6s use the lower bracket for height adjustment.

"Function Series include a lower adjustable cup/bracket which eliminates the problem of sacraficing the shock absorber's stroke and capacity"

That's why the Function Basics and Function B6s cost so much more than the B2 series and the B series on Tim's site.

Other than that, they are pretty much the same. The B2s are an excellent choice.

Hey Astro,

I got a little brochure with the Zeals, and it talks about a Function ZI Show & Cruise Comfort Suspension. They look like the B6s, except they have a "longer spring for a softer ride". It looks like they are the next step up from the Fucntion B6s. Heard anything about these?
