Llumar ATR tint--need shop in pa or central NJ
OK now Im getting pissed with all this tint stuff. I was all set to get my car tinted for a little under 300 dollars---when I started asking questions about specifically what type of llumar tint the shop was using he said it was sunguard and it was *like* lumar tint. He said the llumar isnt that good right now because they are speeding up production and the quality is bad in summertime. I find this hard to believe...the guy was a little too pushy for my liking. He also said no manufacturere guarantees the color not to fade...I thought lumar did. Has anyone had their car done in the PA /NJ area with lumar atr tint? That is what I am looking for..this shop may do good work but I have red so many good things about llumar its all I want. Any help would be appreciated. (shawn i know your guy is good but I would like to do this asap.)

I dont know how far you are from Stroudsburg PA (2nd Exit in PA coming from Jersey on route 80)... But there is a really good place there that has done my past 3 vehicles. It is called North East Solar Control 570-420-9545. He does really nice work and always bends a little if you pay cash. Its a one man business. The owner (who does all the work) is an old guy who is very picky. My friend has his new Ram done there and the guy made him bring it back to have a side wondow redone. I was amazed at how little the little flaw was, but the guy is very picky. Give him a call. It cant hurt.. I am going to tint my car in the spring and he is gonna do it..

yeah mc---thats the one you gave me...I am sure they do good work but after hearing this guys line I wont deal with him.
I hate dealing with pushy salesman....if you have a good product it sells itself.
..My rule of thumb is basically if I hear even one word of bullshit(thats initially presented to me as fact) from a salesman then pretty much anything he says after that is moot.
Its ok...Ive checked around and I feel I can definitely get a good job done elsewhere for much less than the almost 300 they were charging. Thanks anyway tho

It sounds like you did a lot of research which is the right way to do it, but now you’re willing to compromise the job just because you’re in a rush.

True
You did tell me back In January but I was advised by many not to do it then because of the cold weather(Fred may have even told me this). So I put it on the back burner for a while----but I do appreciate the reference..your guy seems like a good one.
