List of $20-$40k Cars that the CL-S Can Outperform!!!

I want you guys to set up a list of cars that the CL-S can outperform in these categories:
**********************
*Handling
*Speed
*Comfort
*Styling
*Features (i.e. Navi, Heated Seats, Side Mirror Tilt)
*Overall Performance
***********************
I am talking about 2000-2001 cars ranging from $20k - $40k...
Like:
+Mitsubishi Eclipes
+Pointac Grand Am
+Chrystler Sebring
+BMW325i
+Lexus IS 3000
+Maximas GEs
+Altimas
+Chevy Camaro
+Toyota Solara
+Toyota Celica
+WV Jetta
+WHAT ELSE...HMMM????
.......................................
Name 1 key point that you think Acura CL-S has over one of or some of these cars is much appreciated. More importantly, which is faster for those who have experienced plp trying to race your CL-S out there.

...This should help a lot of potential buyers surfing through here get the scoop of what they really need in a car. I personally don't think too many plp know what a CL-S is at all.. They assume it's just another Honda Civic.. That's a shame cuz Acura has reliability, but very little exposure to the mass media... Even in commercials.. Thnx

take a look at the "Racing stories" in the forum.
Basically CL-S beats the hell out of any car that falls in to the category $20K - $40K

The CL beats the hell out of any car in the $20-$40K catigory what about the following

Intergra Type R $24,859
Camaro Z28/Trans AM $27,000
Chevrolet Hardtop $38,000
Mustang Cobra $30,000
Honda S2000 $32,000

Those are just the cars I can think of off the top of my head.

I know that each one of these cars will Beat the CL Type-S in every performance catigory.

Read my post in about the 1/4 mile at Sears Point...sorry to tell you this, but most people are not SUPERMAN drivers that do test for the magazines. Although I must admit all those other cars do beat the crap out of the CL-S.....but then again how many of them are as luxurious....

True that. CL-S can't beat S2000, but In Cali they sell it for $40K.
Cobra - $50K
Camaro - I, myself, smoked one.

What does it matter?

Nobody is going to come here for the unbiased word on the CL. If you don't know the posters, all you are going to see is conflict. Besides, if you guys are anything like me, you would have bought the CL regardless if you had read 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, or 7.5 (within reason). Remember the word value? Which doesn't mean speed.

Interesting I thought S2000 could beat the CL-S even with the horsepower issue because of the manual.

I don't care if there is a car out there that can outperform my cls. For the money that I paid for this beautiful automobile, I couldn't careless. Sure Cobra or Trans am is faster then my cls but do they have HID lights, memory seats, SS(for fun driving), and other luxury options that is too much to list. Anyway this is just my thought.

It can, and it does. Not on the long run, though.

Whats the top speed of the CL-S? Like 140ish?

The S2000 is like 150 maybe? I imagine the drag on the S2000 starts making it pull slow over 130... just a guess... Of course, on a race track its probably a whole different story...

The CL-S is a sporty luxo coupe, while the S2000 is a pure sports car. They each have their respective traits...

Don't you guys have anything better to do rather than listing out cars?

------------------
2001 Acura CL Type-S. Blk/Blk w/Navi, Spoiler, AEM Cold Air Intake, All Season Floor Mats, Mahogany Shift Knob, Mud Guards, PIAA Super Plasma High Beams, PIAA 19169 Platinum Super White Wedge Bulbs, 10%/5% Tints.

Yes but try putting your girlfriend and her sister in the backseat of your Honda S2000. Even the front seat is too small. Dk about the other cars but is supect similiar.
