I finally got the light for my glove box fixed. When the glovebox closes the light turns off. At the dealership they told me that the pin that was installed in many of the earlier CLSs did not have a long enogh pin to turn off the light and Acura put out a kit to fix that. Warrenty not a dime out of my pocket.

I checked the HELM book and unless I’m looking in the wrong place, there isn’t a switch.

I think maybe they just adjusted the door so it closes tighter and you can’t see light showing through the opening any more.
