Let's try this again...I need your help!

I'm most likely going to buy a 2001 CL-S with 30K miles tomorow and need some insight on what to look out for when I get there. I have to drive quite a distance but it sounds like a good deal. I'll probably pay 22K for the car out the door.

1. Is this a good price for a certified 01 CL-S 30K miles with Navi?

2. Anybody ever hear of Davis Acura in or near Philly PA?

3. Why didn't Noah smack those two mosquitoes?

sounds good in value, but make sure you test drive the car before any final desicions and check under the hood. the main problems with the car are the tranny, the actuator has been known to go out and ratles. make sure they take care of those things and then talk business. at least while you still have them by the balls. once you buy the car, you'll see how they treat you. try to get some freebies, like oil changes and what not. good luck and take heed at this board, you will soon be modding...

Pay the $50 or whatever it costs to have Lemonbusters check out the car (do they have those in Philly?)

Tranny is not an universal issue and, beside, its covered under the 100K Honda warranty. The more common problems are front brake rotors. They all warp prematurely. Drive to 60 miles and brake normally and feel for the front end and steering vibration. If they do, get them to change the rotors and brake pads before you sign anything. They are also some rattle noises. Drive over some rough roads and check it out. Other than that, it's a great car
