Someone posted they do not want to scramble around and I agree. I want to get this done right.

So what is every part we need and how much are each parts. Thanks.

I think what pgatour1 means is: to have a post on the parts we need (part number for the harness, any kind of different bulb) for the tailights.. Now there are like 3 different threads on what parts to get, and what to do, but I think the people here would prefer just a thread maybe first here, listing each individual items you need (including part number), then move it to the Extrmely useful topics section.

Not that we are lazy to do a "search" but it would be much clearer if we can post a "A-Z" of the parts we need.

Fine, then:

Wayneg: Is th part number you listed for the socket the same for both sides? The taillights have different numbers whether left or right, but is this socket the same for both sides?

Also what is/are the part number(s) for the harness(es) for those of us who would rather spend a couple more $$$ to avoid soldering sockets?

 

When I had my trunk panels and carpeting out, I looked at the harness for both sides and they look like they're ptretting long and are attached by grommets. It would seem easier to me to splice or solder the wires once the part number for the harness is found. What I did was order the 2002 harness from a TL that has a clear turn signal tail lamp. I plan on splicing the bulb socket from the harness And hopefully it fits when I get it. Right now they have just the regular bulb in there and it looks like cleared out tail lamps for the signals. Which isn't half bad.

 

I can give you exact part numbers as soon as I get the harness and it actually works, as far as the tail lights I can give you that later when I get home but ACP has them so I don't see why you would need those #s.
