Legend calipers

I know this was covered before but im lazy.... I was wondering were to get the 2 piston Legend calipers for our cars. I'd perfer getting new ones but used would suffice as long as they are in good condition. I was searching on Ebay but only pulled up the single piston ones. Is there an OEM online ordering place that seels the whole caliper as like a kit or something? Any help would be nice.

thanks

Go into your auto parts store and ask them for some 91-95 Legend calipers. They can get you some rebuilt (like new) for ~$60. They'll be in much better condition than anything on ebay I'm sure. I'm planning on doing this as well in the near future.

I think the two piston lengend calipers came on only the Legends with the type II engine which did not cover the whole 91-95 span.

I've read the Coupe calipers have the largest pistons, so maybe specify for a Legend Coupe.

got them remanufactured from napa for $55 each plus $66 core charge each. just ask for 1995 Legend LS coupe front calipers.... then take back your single-piston calipers back for the core charge refund. they won't even open the box.

installation is simple: just swap left and right calipers and use all of the old CL mounting hardware.

Do you need to bleed the brake lines after changing the calipers? I remember reading something about crimping the brake lines before removing them or something like that.

Yes. If you don't crimp your brake lines, you will have to bleed the brakes.

Yes they will.

The caliper size is EXACTLY the same so the pads can be inter changed. The only difference is that there are 2 pistons in the Legend or NSX calipers vs 1 large piston in the CL or TL.

I had NSX ones on my CL. It is definately a good upgrade. Enjoy.

Loaded, semi-loaded, or Unloaded? Also, any preferences with remanufacturers?

Loaded just means that they come with all of the hardware (mounting brackets, OEM brake pads, ect.) As members on the post had mentioned, you can use the hardware on the existing calipers, OEM pads are garbage quality, might as well just getting the calipers, use your mounting brackets and get a good set of quality pads. No preferences, as long as they are reman and are dual piston, you should be good

I would recommend getting them unloaded and going with EBC greenstuff pads
