Thumbs up LED rice blinker fix.

Here's a diagram I finally found for people who don't know what the heck they are doing when trying to fix the ricer blink if they want to go the LED blinker/brake way.

Buy a 6 ohm resister and follow the diagram...easy!

IMO - not worth it. It really doesn't enhance anything for all that work and whatever money it costs. Get some red bulbs and call it a day.

I agree to an extent. If you're putting them into the tailights, there's really not much of an improvement, though if you were putting them in the headlights, there would be a vast improvement, and a couple of combinations you can choose from, wheter it be amber or white, or a combination of the two (white running light, and amber blinker). I think putting them in the front could add aesthetic appeal to the front end, and could also really compliment those who have the cleared headlights w/o the amber difusers. A white LED running light would really match the color of the HIDs, and could look very clean. Though, the cost of the LED bulbs is still outrageous, and you can easily spend $100 on just bulbs, which I just can't pull myself to doing.

i think the best headlight set up is: hid, removed side marker bulb, and having the turn signal bulb light up ONLY when making a turn.

I agree, the way I have it IMO looks best for our cars. Black housing headlights, 6000K HID's, amber LED wedge bulbs in the parking lights, the turn signals ONLY light up when blinking and they're clear, and the driving lights are amber LED's as well.

Is there a benefit to putting LED's in the tail lights? Because I would like some red LED tail lights to go along with my top half of them being smoked.

Here's some really interesting information about LEDs:

Doesn't really pertain to turn signals, but rather brake lights.

The only reason why I like the LED brake lighting is because they light up fast than a normal bulb would.

Installing the resistors will get rid of the brake light dummy light.

yea its illegal but ive never been bothered, you just stick a bulb in there when going for inspection. its not like that little bulb is going to make your car any safer.

I got hyper white led's for reverse bulbs, they suck ass compared to the light output of the OEM bulbs
