just go to www.LEDautomotive.com

there are step by step instructions on LED conversion. No need for a DIY when it's right there.

Yes there is, but gap did a great job mixing the hyper white and blue LED for a unique look. Also note it seems there are hardly any hot spots in his install. He is doing something right!

Thanks

That Looks awsome!! I got a little bit confused about the number and types of LEDs. can you tell me exactly how many LED's and what type of LED's did you use for each part? I just want to change the followings:

Climate controls (Buttons and LCD)
Clock
GAUGE CLUSTER + Turning signals
Odometer

also how many resistors for those?

you did a great job and I cant go back to study unless I do the same with my car!

i didn't want to start a new thread so here is my completed LED gauges. NO HOT SPOTS FTW!! this is a combination of 2 different bulbs and about 15 additional LEDs glued in.
To anyone thinking they are going to buy a few screw in LEDs and solder a few in and be done....you're wrong. I'm so tired of F'n soldering but damn glad to be done.

Front Driver Door indicator

has anyone noticed why after this conversion the open door indicator on the odometer falsely shows that the driver door is open?

You sure all of the gauge cluster harnesses are connected correctly? I never had a problem with the door indicator staying on. Could be a sensor malfunction, which might just be a coincidence. My SRS light did stay on after putting everything back together, which was a coincidence, due to the OPDS sensor in the seats.

Thanks gaping, there should be some problem somewhere, but its not that important, I was just curious if anybody got the same problem till I noticed the same thing. thanks anyway!

ya and have horrible hot spots.

in the gauges you replace all the bulbs with led bulbs and also add lots of additional LEDs to fill in the dark spots. there is more info posted somewhere on the forum.

No DIY (yet). It's even more time consuming than the conversion itself. If anyone's interested in taking this on themselves, I'd suggest purchasing used parts from anywhere you can find them, ebay, junk yard, etc, and get to know what you're getting into. If you want something that is quality, professional, and looks stock, it is much more difficult than replacing a few stock bulbs. Good luck.

Figured Id post this here. Ive been in the middle of replacing burned out bulbs then fell in love w/ the blueish led look. And didnt feel like paying $3 a bulb plus shipping so i found these.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-T3-T4-T...item2eba0bdf0d
