lease transfer from NY to Florida

took over a lease while in NY and paid upfront sales tax on payments remaining when I registered it.
now we will be moving to Florida. Will we have to pay sales tax again when registering it here?

Yes you will be paying sale tax again in FL. I own out right my TL-S when I moved to TX I paid 6.5% sale tax even the title still remain in my name.

dalk to the DMV and see if there is an option for sales tax paid in another state.. I have never had to repay sales tax when moving from one state to the next while under a car note..
