well, last night i had some fun driving down to RIverwalk, which is a section of ft lauderdale that has a mall complex and bars. ITs like 20 miles from my house so when i drive there, i like to fly.

SO as i was drivin last nite, i see a 2001 Maxima Se in front of me and he is tryin to make me play with him, and as all of us know, we love to play when givin the chance, so I had to show my girl friend the reason why i got the acura over the maxima. It was such a fun drive down that when i was comin home from the club and another maxima SE was eggin me to play, i said, LETS GET IT ON.

THis time, it was 2:30am and not too many people on the road so it was easy to get up in speeds. AT one point i had hit 130 and was drivin at it for a couple minutes, MAN WHAT A RUSH. SO the maxima and I are flyin up 95 in ft lauderdale and we are goin thru a major straightaway and there was a brindge comin up. We all know, that means slow down, and then when my radar detector wenmt of on KA band, i slowed down to 80 and the maxima just kept goin, and goin, and goin, then sure enough, as he went under the bridge, came MR FHP and busted his ego at like 120mph. SUCKA.
ANd I got to have a fun story to tell all u guys. Hope u all like it, its very tru, and just shows that the ACURA is a much better car then the Maxima, and even the police like us better!!!

I've been looking around at the various radar detectors on the market and many people swear by the Valentine 1. I noticed you have a different one. It obviously worked this time, but how would you rate it overall? Worth the $$$? Would you get a different one if you could go back? Why?

i like my bel 950 but if i could go back, i may have gotten the valentine but i dotn know. It seems that the bel is very sensitive on the X band but man when it goes off onm the K or KA band, its usually right on the money, It had had some problems with the sun here in FLorida and when its left on the dash while hte car is off, it turns of and says there is a error message of lo calibration. Bel says that i should send it back but it would take like a month and i didnt want to do that, so i deal with it, but other than that, im very happy with it.

plus i didnt get the ticket, the maxima did.
