Latest Interior Mods purchase

From AHMotor.com

Burlwood:
Shift knob= $97.60
Steering wheel= $399.20
Vent trim= $34.00
Shipping= $14.00
Grand total= $544.80

I have the CL-P with Nighthawk Black exterior, Ebony interior and Burlwood trim.

The guy from AHMotor put me on hold and called Acura and verified that the steering wheel would fit the CL's. He also said that Acura just released a service bulletin regarding this so for those of ya whose dealers refused to do this .. ask them again. Hopefully they've received the bulletin.

I'll post pics once I get the above installed =) I cant wait!

No I didnt swap out my entire trim .. I have the CL-P and it came with the burlwood trim .. but that trim is limited to the doors, and around arm rest/gear shift/cd changer area .. you guys know what I'm talkin about right, the stock trim is kinda limited. There wasnt any trim around the Vents ..

so thats one of the things I ordered .. more trim for my interior (this is an official Acura accessory, not aftermarket per say)

I also had the plain leather shifter, which I've ordered a burlwood shifter for and am going to replace.

The last thing Ive ordered is the new TL-S burlwood steering wheel.

Unfortunately for you CL-S types, the burlwood interior wasnt an option when going with Ebony Leather interior. But they did make it available in the CL-P.

They estimate about 3-5 days for the shipping. I will install it the weekend I get it .. hopefully this, if not definitely next (in time for the Chicago Meet!!) and post pictures immediately!

They just sold you the vent trim?? That's exactly what I want..the rest of the kit is too flshy in my opinion. Where on the website did you go to get the separate pieces or did you just call to get the certain pieces only? Thanks

I ordered online, and just put down vent trim on my order sheet. It says "If You Are Unsure Of The Latest Price Of An Item That You Wish To Order, Just Leave The Amount Field Blank And A&H Will Return The Form Completed For Your Final Approval before your credit card is charged".

So I wrote down Vent Trim, they emailed and confirmed the price the next day pretty smooth process =) .. same with the TL-S steering wheel

hey guys...just wanted to share yet anoter 2 cents...since I am not big on fake burlwood, and am not a big fan of the "bowlingball trim" as you call it, i had my body shop paint the woodtrim pieces (the console piece too) in teh exterior color with metallic texture. Looks great. You can also have them painted to look like aluminum. Just thought you might like to know.

After reading all those post, I am a bit confuse about the back-up lights.... Someone said they use M12 for back up lights, someone said they use M6, and someone use M13.... so for the back up light, which one are we suppose to use? M6, M12, or M13? Thanks!

Definitely the 13's. They are the right size wedge type

Use the 6's in front for the road lamps. They are small, wedge types

Use the 12's in front for the turns. These are the twisties.

Use the 13's in the back for the reverse. If you go stand behind ur acura, u'll see the red tinted glass right? There are 4 bulbs behind each of those. However, you will notice the top right corner of one and the top left corner of the other are clear. Those are the reverse lights. You can change all those, but you want to change the ones behind the clear part of the glass... use the M13's. They are the clamp/wedge type.

Hope this helps =)
