Cool Late Night Mod!

Had some tail light tint sitting around for the past couple days. Didn't have a chance to get it on before the meet this weekend. Couple hours of heating and stretching this shit...what a pain in the ass! Steady hand with the razor and bam

close-up of the handywork!

before and after!

all done!

Yes these were the pre-cut tints. I only wanted to cover the bottom half, so once I had it applied I just used a razor to cut the top half off. Very slowly, and very carefully so I didn't cut through and scratch the light.

Alright, sry for the late pic.

It looks a little darker here than in person. The sun was setting, but this is really close to how it looks!
Now I just need my '03 headlights and I'll be set!

Nah had to take my moms to work so I could work on her car, had to change her timing belt, water pump, and change the oil.

I used pre-cut film for my tails too. I just bit the bullet and paid a tint guy to install it for me, cause I would know I would have troubles anyways.

looks like you used the dark shade correct?

Yeah I went with dark. Really happy with how it looked. Wanted to match the spoiler light tint I had. Just out of curiosity what did it cost you to have him do it? Took me a while...curious what to charge if someone ever asks me to do it again...lol.

He charged me 30 dollars, and he was a mobile guy too. He was the cheapest because everywhere else was 50-60 dollars.
