konis yellows

how will the yellows help a cls W/ aftermrkt springs,
I understand that springs help lessen or tightens the bound and rebound of the spirng,

but how does springs and shocks interact with each other?

does it help absorb making the car smother over bumps
or does it make the car harsher over bumps but fells tighter?

do you have to take the back seat out to install and adjust
cant you adjust ride height up or down by .5 or 1 + or -
thanks

I just ordered Koni's and Comptech Springs for my car this weekend.

The tech explained it to me this way (and I'm about as low-tech as you can get when it comes to this stuff):

The variable rate springs are what lower the car and give it that bounce like you would expect in a stock car (not OEM). The shocks, depending on how you have then set, add in the balance of handling that either enhances or smooths out the ride.

Its still smooth even with them on tightest setting, you may get wheel hop though. And it will feel rough over bad surfaces, ie.. dirt roads, bad bumps. But its not that bad, I keep mine on firm the whole time.
