Not to sound snobby, but why would you put cheap konig's on an M3? I'd rather stick with the OEMs then the Konig's.

Easy there tiger...I have those wheels & they weren't exactly cheap.

Plenty of cheap knockoffs of those wheels out there.

WOW that M3 looks amazing. I'd want a deeper lip on the back though.

BTW I think my friend's 02 black Jetta has opal konig imagines in 18s with 2in drop and bodykit .. looks good on the car.

what are you talking about? These wheels are CHEAP. You can get a set of 18's with tires for like $1200-$1500. Not knocking your wheels, just being real.

And what makes racing hearts, or any other wheel on members cars better? I have seen them all bend with the best of em.

Is it the preverbial more $$ == better quality or better looking?

I've got the Imagines in 18's, and haven't bent one yet. I live in San Marcos, which has one of the worst road condition ratings (per population size) in Texas...I Just have to drive a little slower around town .

w/e

Point is that spoke design and support has way more impact then the manufacturing of the wheel any day.

Anybody who spends over $1,500 on a wheel package just to get tore up on the highway or stolen is crazy. I'd rather have my CHEAP wheels than WASTE my cash.

But hey, not knocking your opinion, just being real. :whocares:

Yea I dunno, I had konigs imagines on my 01 maxima (only 17's) and I didnt really like them except for the "deep dish" and the bullets. I got a really good deal on them like 700 shipped with decent tires (i think falken or nitto) so thats why i picked them up. The quality of the rims though is pretty good for the money I would have to say. I definitely wouldnt put them on an M3. Go get some chrome

I really like those konigs...I think I'm going to have to pick some up soon.

Can anyone get deals on these?

Can I fit 19's with a comptech drop?

not everyone has $2500 to spend on shoes for their car, yes you get what you pay for, but their are some who have other commitments to worry about. ie- Kids/Mortgage/Car Payments/Student Loans......Personally, I cannot afford to buy forged Rims, so i settled for 18" RH Evo C2's $1299 shipped....

Ya, I hear ya. Everyone has different financial situations. But personally, I'd rather run on stocks rather than rolling on knockoff wheels. Different strokes for different folks.

Knock offs are one thing, Konig is legit, just not the best or the most expensive.

Hey, don't forget your driving a Honda knock off...

Well, if Konig is the king, then the wheels should be high quality.

Never understood that anyhow...if someone re-casts a wheel out of the same material as the original for less money, what's the big deal.

That's the same as kids in elementary school saying your shoes aren't designer... :whocares:

I can see if it was a 3 piece forged wheel...hand-made by stoned leprichauns or a magnesium cast...but an aluminum cast wheel...gimme a break.

I'm with you man.

unless someone can give me a solid performance or strength based reason to buy $3000+ wheels, I'm going to get konigs...and with the extra dough get springs and shocks and installation...the looks definitely aren't worth paying double

PLUS...half the damn stock wheels on every car are made by Enkei...

So, does that make their wheels BETTER or WORSE...?
