Wassup everybody! I was sitting in the Mcdonalds drive thru yesterday and heard a knocking sound in my engine. I was at the window and it must have been bouncing off the wall next to the car. It sounded like a friggen hyundai engine or something! Has anyone esle had anything like this happen and if so...what was it!!

 

Your engine was trying to tell you to stay for from Big Macs. Your engine might have experienced some gas that went through with condensation or some type of moisture.

 

Was your car in gear, or in Park ?
Mine makes strange cracking noises while in D or R, when I put it in Park noise is gone. I am gonna mention it to my dealer.

 

Sounds like cheap gas or water in the gas. Stay away from the VTECH, until the next tank.
