Killd a Turbod Eclipse
i was on my way home from work when i see this lowered, tricked out Eclipse....and since im always wantin to race i get behind him....we play around for a while and then i follow him into a parking lot where we decide to go to a racing road......he pulls up next to me and i honk three times and were off......i spun the tires for a lil bit but once i catch on i am gone.......i beat him by a ridiculous amont....we turn around and do it again and this time i just floor it and im sittin there smokin thru like 2nd gear but i still kill him by just the same amount if not more....then im talkin to the guy and he tells me that it has a turbo....then him and his friends went on talkin about my car for like 30 minutes....people really like our cars!

was it an auto?
the only eclipse that is close to a CLS in speed is a 5 spd GS-T. The GSX's are a little slower because of AWD.
MY mom had a GSX, and it was a POS! THe cd player broke, drive axle self destructed......and it was brand new too! THe dealer bought it back!

Ok, well I guess I differ in my opinion. I have a '94 talon TSI and a '03 CL-S as a daily driver, and while the CL is a dream to drive, its not nearly as "violent" as my talon. In stock form I dyno'd 194 horses and 225lbs of torque, and this car only weighs 2800lbs. I can post the dyno if you like. The CL is VERY heavy and has a totally different powerband. I've never ran a 1st or 2nd gen DSM in my CL-S, but I'm pretty sure they dont match up well. Another thing you have to remember is that a car is only as good as its driver...
