okay yesterday I went to class. and I come in (and he knows I likes the CL-S) (and he's a SUV guy)he's like I found a SUV that will smoke your CL-S. I rolled my eyes and said and what SUV.he said the Porshe Cayenne Twin Turbo. he said it has like 450 HP.I said but how much does it cost. he said like 80-90 grand.I said hells bells for 80-90 grand that thing should run.
I said If you gave me 80-90 grand to build a CL-S I could get it to beat a Cayenne TT stock.he said Bull sh!t it's a V-8 twin turbo.
I said all i'd have to do is do a 3.5 Liter swap, drop a Comptech S/C on it, do about a 75 or 100 shot of NOS, and I'd run ya man. he's like whatever man.

port and polish on the heads & intake, 5 angle valve job
oversized valves
I'd put 9:1 pistons in, forged steel crank (3.5 engine)
custom twin turbo setup
Bunch of other little things
screw the 5lbs of boost from CT supercharger
when you have 40k to spend to MOD
run like 15-19lbs of boost 600hp easy
no need for N20
Plus, you can control your boost so you don't light the hell out of the tires.
But still a HUGE waste of money in our POS FWD drive cars. Get something worth mod'n...

i'm not saying it's not expensive as all hell, but you gotta give the cayenne some props... company rumor inside porsche is that it runs the nuremberg ring almost as fast as the 996 turbos (sorry, i refuse to call them 911s, the last 911 was made in '97 when the made the last air cooled porsche). anyway, you're right about tuning a cls with 90 grand, you could blow the hell out of that thing.
Shoot, doesn't mean it will bet an I4! Give someone 90 grand and I'm sure they can go get a civic SI or teg type-r, mod the shit out of it, smoke a v8 and still have enough left over to buy a CLS!!! (obviously some V8s are going to be modded as well)

Great, I hope you dont have any problems installing it! Do you think your going to need a fuel management system?

I will probably adjust the fuel regulator too. But I thinking the stock fuel system can handle it fine. If the comptech SC doesn't overdrive the fuel system, I don't expect the turbodyne/garrett turbo too.

With just about any other tires you'll still get some tire spin in a CLS in stock form.
Also depends on what size turbos you use. Some spool up rather quickly. Which is an advantage of using two vs. one. Two smaller ones can spool up faster and prodive as much boost as one larger turbo would. Whoever they crap out at high RPMS in the turbine.
And really what the use is. Street racing light to light, you'd want twins that'd spool up quick. On the highway you'd find one huge turbo would be better.
Also if you have the turbos setup sequentially. (one little turbo, and one big turbo) These setups are tricky to get working well. I believe the Supra TT was a stock sequential system.
I always wondered why you couldn't use compressed air in a tank, put nossels in the turbo(s), blow air out of the nossels at the turbine to spool it up while the car was sitting idle. Seems a good way to get rid of lag to me. Be a bit tricky to tune, but would prove to be interesting. Especially on a big turbo.
You guys remember when you were like seven years old and didn't really know the details about cars and how they worked?
OMG DUDE ITS A PORSCHE, NOTHING CAN BEAT THAT!
Now imagine someone in high school still stuck in that sort of unknowing mentality.
That's what I picture in this kid who was giving Water-S shit.

yeah.....kids are like that in high school. I am 15 and know 100X more about cars than most kids at my school do. They freak out over this neon at our school.
It has headers, intake, exhaust, and NOS! (fire extinguisher lol) Well anyway...it's considered the fastest car in the school
Did I mention it has flame stickers, 15" konigs, and an aluminum wing
Oh yeah...and altezzas
