K&N Filter

I'm just need confirmation that the correct part number for the CLS filter is 33-2178. Where do you think the best place online is to purchase one? What about the best place to buy PIAA 19169 wedge bulbs?

I think the 33-2133 is only for the base CL?

Thanks Rentua. I found out the same when I called Performance Products.com. I cancelled the order with Autozone and ordered with PP.com. Thanks for your help...

Yeh, these filters are completely different. The filter for the Premium models are NOT interchangeable with the Type-S models.

I guess I could be setting myself up for problems, but I was able to fit the 33-2133 into my Type S after shaving off the rubber tabs on the sides. After that, it seemed to fit fine with good seal on all sides.

I'm hoping that K&Ns are not directional as far as air flow. Everything seems fine, so I'm ok with it unless I hear otherwise.

Anyone think otherwise? Thanks!

How is just adding a filter different than changing to a CAI. What are the performace gains? Any sound changes?
