k&n drop in filter

k&n drop in filter
Ive been a member for 10 minutes and already made two posts!!! What is the opinion of the board members on if a k&n drop in filter does any good for the cl-s? I understand that it already comes with a high flow fiter from the factory. What do you guys think? Thanks,Jon

They will get ya 1to3 mpg highway... No real power increase.

I dont know what others think, but I feel a little more power, just a little when starting from rest. And for the price you can'nt go worng, let me know if you want one, as i had posted before, i can ship you one for $35.

YES, BETTER MPG AND NICER INDUCTION SOUND TOO.FASTER, WHO KNOWS. IT'S WORTH THE INVESTMENT AS YOU CAN CLEAN IT AND NEVER HAVE TO REPLACE IT.

sorry for my ingnorance, but what is a k&n drop-in filter? does it replace the oil filter? i don't know too much about stuff under the hood, so if someone could explain it to me or send me some pics that would be great. thanks!

The drop in K&N filter just replaces the stock filter becasue the K&N lets more air flow in to the engine it is less restrictive.
thats as far as i know.
