K&N Cone Filter
I am picking up an intake from a member here and im gonna need to replace the cone filter with a K&N one, but Im not sure which one I need, theres like 100 different sizes and idk which one to get. All I know is that it has to be a 3" inlet, and I searched and didnt find an answer...Maybe I didnt search hard enough
So I just need the part number for a K&N cone Filter for a C.A.I
Thnx

I actually think im gonna go with the AEM Dryflow. You dont have to oil it, just rinse it with water and let it dry. And if your K&N isnt filtering well, maybe you arent oiling it enough? The oil is gonna create a type of barrier to prevent dirt and debris from going through the filter. So maybe you should try to oil it a little more and see how that works before you get the Amsoil one

![](http://www.knfilters.com/images/m/RE-0910.jpg)
That pic was taken after 120k miles w/o cleaning it.
I soaked it bought K@N cleaner and cleaned it then re-oiled it and workes like NEW AGAIN!

The "red" doesnt wrap around the piping from the icebox
The "green" can't fit because there is a plastic piece from the icebox that is in the way
Im not sure if they make sense... i maybe able to take a picture to show u
