was just VERY CURIOUS.

sometimes the seat reclining doesnt work for somereason. so my passengers have to try to squeeze throught to get in or out cause there just to lazy to move it by hand. and i just noticed that when i start my car my maint. light blinks for about 10 sec? is that normal?

i'm not sure about the seat, but if it's moving with the control on the side of the seat, it should move up and back on its own when you lift up the lever to let people into the back.

as far as the maint required light, if it blinks that much, it just means you're getting close to being due for an oil change (as far as the car knows, anyway). The light blinks at 5900-6100 miles and stays on at 7400-7600 miles. In order to reset this, you have to turn the car off, hold in the trip/reset button, turn the ignition switch on and continue to hold button for more than 10 secs. it will reset.

Yep, I've had some issues with the seat moving up to let passengers in... It depends on if the door is open or closed when the lever is lifted...

With the door open when you lift the lever the seat should move forward. People get in, put the lever down, and push the seatback back, and the seat bottom should move back into the postion where you started.

I've also noticed that having it in drive, neutral or revese (not 100% on that) doesn't allow the seats to move up or back, only in park it works. Gear placement affects its and I believe also where you have the key on the ignition does so also.
