Just replaced Clutch master cylinder. Clutch taking a crap on me???
Ok, so I just got finished changing my Clutch master cylinder literally 15 minutes ago. When I took the cylinder off it look as if it was working fine, my question is if it isn't my master cylinder I'm thinking it could be my slave cylinder??? I have the slave on the way so as soon as it comes in and if I still have problems I know it's my clutch.
symptoms I was having:
Car was fine 2 weeks prior, about 5 days ago I noticed my clutch to feel softer as if I was losing pressure. The clutch engaged, no real slipping, but I noticed a gradual lose as I was driving. As I drive no more than 15 minutes later when I compress the clutch my car has to be forced out of 1st to second, second to third, etc. My clutch disengages and my rpms drop but it doesn't want to come out of nor go in gear. So I was thinking my clutch master or slave cylinder hence why I ordered both and if those don't solve the problem I'm thinkin my clutch took a on me.
Any idea's guys???
as I said I just changed my master, haven't checked if that solved the problem cause I need to bleed my system and get some brake fluid. I am expecting my slave tomorrow so I figured I would wait on it to come in, bleed and fill my system, and go from there. any thoughts on whether it may be the clutch or if this may solve my problem. Sorry so long guys, any help is greatly appreciated.

All lines were clean and clear but I didn't check my damper line. I'll check it shortly. I had a master go out on a past car. I noticed what seems to be slight slippage and my clutch pedal feeling a little sticky before I lost pressure but it was when I got heavier on gas. Will check the line as soon as I get back in the garage. Thanks fuzzy. Anyone else with a similiar or something similiar happen in the past?
