just orderd my headers! info needed
hey guys, i jst orderd alpha werks headers.. can anyone tell me what to expect as far as instalation? how hard is it to do and is there anything i need to know before i do it? and do i have to reset the ecu or does it just automaticly do it in 3 days?

Don't Mess With Texas
air tools are recomended but hand tools work...just make sure you have a long extention and SIX POINT sockets cause if you have like i think 12 point ones you will have the same problem as me and round off your rusted nuts and then you have a big ol rusty mess. oh ya and i forgot get a can of liquid wrench and a cutting torch incase the bolts are rusted real bad then your gonna have to heat them up and break them.

take special care when removing downpipe, as the primary O2 sensor is attached to it . when removing the pipe, first disconnect the sensor wiring from the connector plug up in the engine bay. second, take caution when pulling down pipe off of the cat flange as you can damage the cat stud threads (exercize even MORE caution when installing the new header a-pipe to prevent thread damage) take care when removing/reinstalling O2 sensor into new A-pipe.
use PB Blaster on old bolts and antisieze on all reattachment fasteners
other items in post #3 above are good but not essential
