Just got my new car - 3.0 Z4

I didnt' like this car when I first saw it in pix, but after seeing it in person last week, I like it a lot. That's the first good interior shot I've seen and I kinda like it. Auto tho? Isn't the car heavier than the Z3 w/ same engine?

I think it looks ten times better than the stupid, boring Z8, for one thing. Cute car. What kinda performance numbers, or is it similar like the Z3 which isn't really performance-oriented?

i always thought the first z3 was wimpy looking but this one looks HEAPS better.... the front is very distinctive and the interior is very sharp and clean - no nonsense

Yeah... I saw one of these on the road last night too. Looks nice. I really like the rear turn indicators.... the yellow light seems to expand when it blinks between the red circle... pretty cool.
JRock, what do you mean not preformance oriented? I don't know much about the new Z4, but I know the Z3 can be quick as hell.... Stock for Stock I think a 2.8 Z3 will be neck and neck with a CL-S as far as acceleration (and im sure it handles better because of the size) and a 3.0 Z3 will beat a stock CL-S in acceleration.

This Z4 is nice. Is this a replacement for the Z3? I guess since it doesn't have the M3 engine like the M Roadster/Coupe, it is. I like this much better than the silly Z3. 225hp in a 3000lb car is nice, although for close to $40k it's a bit pricey. Also I LOVE the way the rear end is designed.

I like it a lot better than the Z3. The Z3 looked like a girls car to me. 
The Z4 looks more aggressive & maybe even a little bigger. I'm not sure about the bigger part because I have not seen it in person yet, it looks bigger to me. Overall it's a sweet ride.

i've seen it in action over at www.bmwfilms.com and definatly think the car is a killer.
I myself have taken a different root and traded in the CL for a S2000...hehe sorry no picts yet.

I too had reservations om the cars styling, but i saw a few yesterday on person and I really dig it...it looks sweet and u guys should've seen the amts of necks that were breaking just to catch a glimpse of that car...i haven't been able to check out the iinterior upclose, but from what soopa tells me, its really really nice
