just got the dyno numbers for the six speed off the comptech site
wow 63hp gain awesome!!!OK, I finally got my hands on a dyno chart for a supercharged '03 CL-S 6-speed. Until our web guy can get it posted on the site, here are some numbers to whet your appetite. The car had headers and mufflers both before and after. It was running about 5.5 pounds of boost.
2000rpm +12hp +31ftlb
3000rpm +19hp +33.5ftlb
4000rpm +34hp +44ftlb
5000rpm +57hp +60ftlb
6000rpm +32hp +28.5ftlb
6800rpm +63hp +49ftlb
We make no guarantees regarding the life of your front tires with this kit. I hear it's capable of keeping the tires smokin' all the way thru 2nd gear (if you are so inclined). !!!!!!!! and 50lbft torque

I told you guys it was impressive!
I have had the dyno for over a week, but no way to scan the damn thing in. This thing is going to be a monster!
........still waiting to see who will be the first to "pull the trigger" on this thing......

Since a 6MT CLS /w headers & intake dynos in at about 230-235hp I would expect 300hp (right around there) with 60hp gains from the SC.
315 might be doable...
Giddy up
With traction I bet you can run a 13.5 -13.2. So who's going to go buy one?

And, with the current compression and setup (and no BIG intercooler), expect the car to be ever more sensitive to ambient temperatures when getting dyno numbers (for comparison purposes)...

Is it just me or do those HP/TQ figure seem a little for an S/C on a car that is making 260hp stock. I might be wrong but those figures of 63hp and 49ft/lb seem less than a Jackson S/C makes on a B18c

I thought that those numbers seemed decent for only 5.5 lbs boost. intercooler will help a crap load. i dunno if its avail or if anyone researched it. but on the GTP's the high boost creates detonation...do they make a H2O kit for your cars with a supercharger...or is the supercharger something really new....these cars are very interesting. i think u guyz have started to hook me in

I agree with the 280 HP at the fron wheels figure. It might actually be conservative. Hrere is a reference. I remember when the C5 Vette came out in 1997, the first dyno run gave 282 HP at the rear wheels. When the 1st year C5 Vette came out it made 340 HP at the crank. So there.
Another way to calculate:
Crank HP
Stock 260
Headers +20 (I know CT says it's plus 30 at the wheels but power is not cumulative when multiple mods are involved)
SC +60 (I know CT says that;s at the wheels)
Total 340HP.

It looks like the SC is tuned for peak efficiency at mid rpm. So dont necessarily look at the peak RPM HP numbers. At 5000 RPM this will be once strong car.

Point being, how long would a juiced vehicle last on a road course. After the first lap the blast is gone. Most drive their CL daily and do not care what it could do in the 1320 foot run when spraying; most want day-to-day ability. If all I cared about was great strip times I would have bought an SS and sprayed it. However, I purchased a CL for the comfort. But yet the potential suits well for the intention and enjoyed on the back roads where nitrous has no presence.

I can imagine a SCed CLS being really nice to drive while in motion. On the highway for example. Not from standstills and not in a race track with lots of tight turns. Which is fine because most of our driving I bet is on the highway. This SC makes this engine grow from 3.2 liters to 4.4 liters. Nice gains.

The car that was supercharged already had the headers installed. So what I'm wondering, how much power would it put with no mods, and just the SC.
