I called a friend and asked for some hospitality--she hooks me and my wife up with suite passes for one of Michael Andretti's sponsors. We walk in and there's Mario signing autographs in a grip and grin session. I got an autograph for my 5 yo nephew who's nuts about Mario and Michael(and who met Mario in the Detroit airport) Anyways, Mikey drops to dead last after less than 10 laps b/c of problems with other drivers. I'm thinkin' no way, not a 7th time will he win, but he does! Our host gave everyone a scanner preset with the driver's car number matching the scanner channel so it was easy to follow ("the f#$kin' guy passed me under a yellow in front of the starter's stand is someone gonna do somethin' about it?" Tracy) We had a great time, Thanks Archipelago!

 

Great race ! The points leaders were dropping like flies, except for Michael. Great drive, he OWNS Toronto. I'm a Zanardi fan, glad to see he's finally getting it together. Sounds like you had a great time, hard not to where you were watching from !!
Funny you mention Mario, last year in Portland he stopped to autograph my wifes race program, she loves him. I'm going to Laguna Seca in October, can't wait.
